Subscription and billing

Subscription & billing is in the account menu. Unlike the product tabs, it is reachable whether or not you have an active subscription, so a lapsed team can always get back in.

#Status badges

With no subscription at all the page says You don't have an active subscription on this account. and offers View plans.

#Renewal and cancellation

An active plan shows Renews on {date}.

After cancelling, the page is explicit that access continues:

Your subscription is still active and paid up. It ends on {date}, and you keep full access until then. It won't renew or charge you again.

Nothing changes before that date. Digests keep arriving, exports keep working.

#Invoices and payment method

Manage billing opens the Stripe billing portal, which handles invoices and receipts, payment method changes, and cancellation. Its description in the app:

Opens the Stripe billing portal: download invoices & receipts, update your payment method, or cancel.

Card details are handled by Stripe. Market Tracker never sees them.

#Resuming a lapsed plan

If your plan has ended and the card on file is still valid, a banner offers a one-click resume:

Your plan ends {remaining}: last chance to resume in one click.

Resuming charges the saved card and restores access immediately, with Your plan is back on. on success. If the card declines, you are taken to normal checkout instead. Use a different card is always available.

Resume is limited to the team owner or an admin.

#What lapsing actually stops

• The product tabs show the subscribe screen
• Watch List and Book digests stop being sent
• Nothing is deleted

#Seats

Adding or removing a teammate changes the bill, because pricing is per seat. See Team and seats.
