How current the data is
When Market Tracker's carrier data refreshes, why a Watch List digest arrives daily, and what an empty section on a Carrier File actually means.
Market Tracker reads public federal sources. Two questions come up constantly: how recent is what I am looking at, and does an empty section mean "nothing" or "not loaded".
#What the product promises
The Watch List states its own cadence on screen: We check daily and email you a digest. Saved view alerts offer daily and weekly cadences and honour them.
Those are the commitments. Everything else refreshes on its own schedule as the underlying federal sources publish, which is not something to plan a day around.

For anything time-critical (confirming coverage before binding) treat Market Tracker as a fast read of the public record, and verify against the source of record. The public authority and insurance lookup runs live if you want a second look without an account.
#Baselines are not history
A carrier added to your Watch List is baselined that day. The timeline starts there. ✓ No changes since you started watching on {date}. on a carrier added this morning is correct, not empty.
Prior history lives on the History tab of the Carrier File.
The same applies to view alerts: the first scan sets a baseline and sends nothing.
#Empty is not the same as unknown
Three distinct states get read as "no problem" and should not be:

| Risk shows as unrated | Not enough inspection data to rate the carrier. Not low risk |
| An empty section on a Carrier File | That source had nothing, or was unavailable. The file degrades section by section |
| No count beside a filter option | The count has not been measured. Not an assertion of zero |
#What Market Tracker does not have
No public source carries these, so no refresh cadence would help:
- premiums and rates
- claims detail and loss runs
- driver-level personal data
- IFTA mileage and fuel-tax records
- telematics and ELD data
- credit and financial statements
Premium in your Book comes from your own AMS export, not from Market Tracker.
