- Rating workflows: personal-lines quoting through EZLynx’s rating engine is the product’s core, and getting risk data in and quotes out is a well-trodden integration path.
- Management-system data: customers, policies, and servicing data can flow to and from outside systems through sanctioned integration routes.
- Lead-to-applicant automation: web leads, raters, and intake forms turning into EZLynx applicants without a CSR retyping them.
- Export discipline: even where direct interfaces are gated, EZLynx’s reporting and export surfaces support reliable, monitored pipelines.
- An ecosystem position inside Applied — meaning integration patterns keep maturing rather than decaying.
The EZLynx integration landscape, honestly.
EZLynx (now part of the Applied family) is pragmatic but gated: programmatic access generally runs through partner and customer programs rather than a public self-serve API portal. The right plan depends on which EZLynx you mean — rater, AMS, or both.
- Access is program-gated. What you can integrate depends on your EZLynx agreement and the partner route — step one is confirming what your account actually includes, and we know which questions to ask.
- Rater and AMS are different surfaces: a team quoted “EZLynx API access” for rating sometimes discovers it doesn’t cover management-system records, or vice versa.
- Carrier coverage in the rater varies by state and line — automation plans have to respect where EZLynx genuinely returns rates.
- Bindable vs. indicative: rater results aren’t always bindable quotes; workflows that pretend otherwise break at the carrier portal step. We design for the difference.
- Where an interface is closed, the fallback is deterministic browser automation — which works, but should be a deliberate choice, not a surprise in month two.
Shipped before, shipped again.
These are the engagements we run most often on this platform. If yours isn’t here, bring it to the scoping call — if we can’t build it, we’ll say so on the call.
Lead → applicant automation
Every web lead, call note, or intake form becomes a complete EZLynx applicant — household, drivers, vehicles, prior coverage — without anyone retyping it. Speed-to-quote stops depending on who’s at a desk.
Quote results where your team lives
Rating results captured and synced into your CRM or sales pipeline with premiums, carriers, and statuses — so producers chase the quote, not the screenshot of the quote.
EZLynx ↔ CRM bridge
Customers and policies synced with HubSpot, Salesforce, or your stack of choice, including renewal dates and servicing context. Marketing finally segments on real book data.
Renewal & cross-sell extracts
Daily expiration lists and monoline-customer reports (auto without home, home without umbrella) delivered to the people who can act on them.
Rater orchestration
EZLynx rating in sequence with carrier portals and other raters — one intake, multiple quoting rails, results normalized into a single comparison your agent can actually read.
Carrier-portal completion
For quotes that need carrier-site finishing — underwriting questions, bindable rates, documents — our portal automation picks up where the rater stops, using the same applicant data.
Looking for the product instead of the engineering? We also run ready-made automation on top of EZLynx — see AI automation for EZLynx. Or, if you’d rather add a person than a project, hire an insurtech engineer who already knows this platform.
Scoped on a call.
Demoed the same week.
Scoping call.
Bring the integration you wish existed. We tell you what the platform genuinely allows, what we’d build, and what it costs — on the call, not in a proposal three weeks later.
A build lead joins your Slack.
A named engineer who has shipped against this platform before — not a recruiter, not a PM. They confirm access and credentials, then start on the thinnest end-to-end slice.
First demo on your real data.
Not a slide. The integration running against your live environment — your policies, your clients, your edge cases. You click around and we keep going until it’s right.
It keeps running. We keep watching.
APIs version, portals change, schemas drift. Monitoring and fixes are in the flat fee — most clients learn something broke from our Slack message that says it’s already fixed.
Engineers who already speak insurance.
“It is like having an in-house fractional head of engineering and a fully functional dedicated team.”
“Alfabolt took over our digital platform and internal systems, improved functionality fast, and cut hosting and infrastructure costs by 50%.”
After just a few months, they were a fully integrated part of our team.
The questions every scoping call starts with.
Does EZLynx have a public API?
Not in the self-serve, sign-up-and-get-a-key sense. Programmatic access runs through EZLynx/Applied programs and depends on your agreement. That’s not a blocker — it just means the first step is confirming your account’s access, which we help you do in plain terms, and designing the build around what’s actually available.
Can you integrate EZLynx with our CRM?
Yes — it’s the most common EZLynx engagement we run. Customers, policies, and renewal dates flow to the CRM on a schedule or near-real-time depending on access; producer activity can flow back. Mapping is agreed in week one and the first sync demos on your real book.
We use EZLynx as a rater only, with a different AMS. Does that work?
Yes, and it’s a clean setup: the rater handles quoting while your AMS stays the system of record. We wire intake → EZLynx rating → results into your AMS/CRM, and add carrier-portal completion for the quotes that need binding steps the rater can’t do.
What happens for carriers EZLynx can’t rate?
The same applicant data feeds our deterministic portal automation for those carriers, so the workflow stays one intake → many quotes, regardless of which rail each carrier requires. Agents see one normalized result set.
How fast do we see something running?
A working slice inside the first week of access — usually leads flowing into EZLynx or book data flowing out. Production with monitoring follows over the next few weeks depending on scope.
What does it cost?
Flat $2,499 or $4,499 per month depending on volume, month to month, cancel anytime. EZLynx-side licensing stays between you and EZLynx; our fee covers the engineering and the upkeep.

Bring the integration
nobody wants to staff.
Twenty minutes, no deck. Tell us what should be flowing between your systems and isn’t. We’ll tell you if it’s buildable, how long it takes, and what it costs. If we’re not the right team, we’ll say so and point you somewhere better.
