Endorsement processingFor independent insurance agencies · US

Every mid-term change,
tracked until the carrier confirms it.

Add a vehicle. Add a driver. Raise a limit. Each one is a small request that takes a CSR twenty minutes and then sits, unconfirmed, in a folder somewhere. We draft the request from the policy, send it to the carrier, chase it until it is confirmed, and write the change back to the AMS.

  • Change requests read from email and matched to the right policy
  • Drafted from the policy record with the details that carrier actually requires
  • Submitted to the carrier and chased on a schedule until it is confirmed
  • Confirmed changes written back to the AMS with the endorsement attached

What changes

The loop you run today, and the one that replaces it.

Today · by hand
  1. An insured emails asking to add a vehicle, usually with half the details missing.
  2. A CSR opens the policy, works out what the carrier will need, and drafts the request.
  3. It goes to the carrier portal or the underwriter, and then it waits.
  4. Nobody tracks which requests are unconfirmed, so the insured chases instead.
  5. The endorsement comes back and the AMS gets updated, if someone gets to it.

What we build

The pieces, not a platform.

Deterministic where a wrong number matters, AI where it earns its seat, and you approve which is which. Nothing here asks your team to learn a new system.

Request intake

Change requests arriving by email or form are read, matched to the account and policy, and classified by type. Anything ambiguous is held for a person rather than guessed at.

Completeness check

The carrier will bounce a request missing a VIN, a licence number, or a garaging address. Those gaps are caught up front and asked for once, in one email, instead of across a three-day round trip.

Drafting and submission

The request is built from the policy as it stands and submitted the way that carrier accepts changes: portal, endorsement form, or underwriter email. The common change types are the ones we automate first.

Chasing to confirmation

Unconfirmed requests are followed up on a schedule, with a live list of what is still outstanding and how long it has been waiting. The insured stops being the one who chases.

Write-back

When the carrier confirms, the change is written to the AMS, the endorsement document is attached, and the activity is logged, so the policy record reflects the policy.

Monitoring

Carrier portals and endorsement forms change. We catch it from monitoring and push a fix, usually before your team notices a request stalled.

How it actually works

You record a Loom. We do the rest.

No statement of work, no change orders, no “out of scope”. A named build lead in your Slack from day one, working inside the setup you already have.

Adding one vehicle takes a CSR twenty minutes, and then we never know if the carrier actually processed it until the insured calls asking.

Alfabolt took over our digital platform and internal systems, improved functionality fast, and cut hosting and infrastructure costs by 50%.

After just a few months, they were a fully integrated part of our team.

Questions

Endorsement processing questions, answered.

Which endorsement types can you handle?

We start with the high-volume, repeatable ones: adding and removing vehicles and drivers, address and garaging changes, limit and deductible changes, and additional insured requests. Anything requiring underwriting judgement is routed to your team with the context attached.

What happens when a request is ambiguous?

It stops and waits for a person. The system is built to hand off rather than guess, because an endorsement submitted wrong costs far more than one that is an hour late.

Do we have to change AMS or learn new software?

No. We sit on top of the AMS you already run (HawkSoft, NowCerts, AMS360, EZLynx, Applied Epic, QQCatalyst) and automate the steps around it. Your CSRs keep working the way they do now.

Is this just AI? How do we trust it on a policy change?

We use LLMs where they earn their seat, like reading a messy request email. We do not use them where a hallucinated VIN or limit would go to a carrier. Your runbook lists what is AI and what is deterministic, and you approve every category.

How fast can we get started?

Send a Loom on Monday and you watch it run on real change requests that Friday. Month to month, you own everything, cancel anytime.

What does it cost?

It starts free: a 20-minute call and a written automation map of the 3 to 5 workflows worth automating first. Then a 14-day pilot for $2,499 one time: one workflow, fixed scope, live and used by your team by day 14, or you don’t pay. After that, $2,499 a month keeps it running (monitoring and fixes included) and adds one new automation each month; $4,499 a month runs two build lanes. Month to month, cancel anytime, no setup fees. No per-endorsement charges.
