Insurance status is now reconciled with FMCSA's live registration record, renewal dates follow the policy anniversary, and the carriers the public feeds hid come back into view.

FMCSA moved carrier registration to a new system this year, and after May the public filing feeds stopped carrying most renewal filings. Every carrier that shows active authority with no filing is now checked against the live registration record daily, so a carrier that renewed on its anniversary reads as insured and the public no-filing report counts only carriers that are actually bare.
Operating authority no longer flips between active and inactive as three federal sources disagree: one precedence rule decides, and the change journal ignores the blips. Watch List authority alerts stop repeating.
Carriers whose USDOT number reads inactive only because the biennial MCS-150 update was missed, while their authority and insurance are live, are included in Leads, the lead pulls and the state lead pages with an MCS-150 overdue badge.

Renewal dates for policies that never re-file: a continuous BI/PD filing older than a year now carries its next policy anniversary as the estimated renewal, labelled as an anniversary estimate. Exports, lead pulls, Watch List renewal alerts and the connector carry the basis (filing, anniversary or transaction).
A phone or email that many carriers list (a registration service, a permit filer, a fleet office) is marked as shared in the grid, on Leads and in exports, so a call list does not lead to the same front desk twenty times. Placeholder numbers render as a dash.
